Youth Ministry

Confirmation:
Understanding that Confirmation is a big step for most students Zion works hard at helping our young adults navigate the way through their faith.  Working together to explore God and their faith students discuss and share during class every Wednesday and Sunday during the Sunday school year. The Celebration of Confirmation is every spring with the students presenting their prepared faith statements.

Luther League:
After Confirmation students are encouraged to participate in Zion’s Luther League.   This group of young adults meets monthly to go over Luther League business and plan their next worship service or fundraiser.   Luther League is the proud owner of a 50 flamingo flock that makes their way around the community brining joy and fun to friends and family.  They host the annual spaghetti dinner and lead us in Worship at the 7:00 p.m. Family Christmas Eve Service and the Easter Sunrise Service.  Of course like every high school student in the ELCA they most look forward to the tri annual Youth Gathering.
